What can be more tasteful than domestic hot croissants!!!!
I have this recipe from my mom and I have been watching her preparing them since I can remember. They are easy to be prepared and do not require much. These are the softest croissants ever that you will be able to prepare.
- 250 ml milk
- 1 spoon of sugar
- 1 spoon of salt
- 1 kg flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 butter
You put the yeast in one bowl with a sugar and a bit of flour to increase.
In another bowl you mix the flour, the eggs, sugar and the salt and when the yeast is ready, you add it to the whole ingredients. You prepare the dough and you divide it in 4.
Every quarter is divided in 8 parts. You roll every piece and you place it on top meanwhile you coat every piece with butter. After all pieces have been in a row, you make one big bark. After the bark is prepared you slice 16 pieces which you roll them.
You place the croissants in a baking pan which is previously covered with butter or oil.
Let the croissants rest for 2 hours (if possible in a cold room) and you bake them on a temperature of 220 ddegrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
If you want to prepare sweet croissants you lessen the salt in the preparation and before rolling the 16 piesec you can put a chocolate cream in the middle.
With the croissant you can use a nice rose wine.
