Robert Kubica says he has “a plan in his head” regarding a comeback to the sport after he drove a Formula 1 car for the first time since the horrific rally accident that curtailed his career before the 2011 season. (Fox Sports)

Hyundai’s boss Albert Biermann has ruled out the prospect of the car manufacturer entering F1, saying “there are more interesting ways to burn money”.(Drive)

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes the threat to his team from Force India will only come at certain circuits this season. Force India’s Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon were in the hunt for the podium in Canada before Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo took third behind the Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. 

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says Ocon will be a “superstar of the future” after his impressive performances this season. (F1i.com)
